Overall, I think it's good. I needed something more natural because I have been becoming allergic to many things over the years and I was afraid hair dye would be one of them. I hesitated using Madison Reed primarily because of the sulfites in it. I used this product today and I seem to be fine. Only ill effect is a slight soreness to the top of my scalp/head. It's coming and going but does not seem to worrisome. Verona Brown is a nice color for me and it covered the gray well. Thanks, Madison Reed!

This hair color is amazing! I started as a level seven brown base with caramel and baby blonde highlights. I was really afraid that I'd have a lot of brassy tones and almost ordered the Siena Brown out of fear but this turned out to be a beautiful neutral brown with a hint of golden warmth to it. No brass at all. I've paid $100's of dollars for salon color and not been as satisfied as I am now. I'm loving the rich, healthy look of my hair so much. I can't believe I did this myself at home. UPDATE: seven weeks later the highlights are starting to break through the color and it's getting a very warm reddish tone to it. I'm going to order the siena brown to try to cool it off a bit.
